Repair Services

IPS repair services include complete rebuilds on refiners, refiner drive motors and vacuum pump motors. EnduraLok VPI rewinds are standard on motor rebuilds and backed by a three-year warranty. We recommend EnduraSeal VPI rewinds for motors operating in wet conditions, including exposure to moisture, steam and chemicals (EnduraSeal rewinds are backed by a five-year warranty).

Equipment and Transmission Components - Reconditioning & Rebuilding

We recondition random-wound low-voltage equipment and provide complete repair services on mechanical power transmission components, including gearbox reconditioning and rebuilds, bearing replacement on vertical and submersible pumps, and repairs and rebuilds on fans, blowers and vacuum pumps. We also repair, rebuild and remanufacture bark hogs, shredders, pulverizers and wood chippers.

Remanufacturing For Old Motors

If you have older, non-standard frame motors that are no longer available from the OEM, we can help with retrofitting. We perform Fit-Form-Function assessments on these units, take measures and pictures duplicate all critical dimensions, and then reverse engineer to build drop-in replacement motors. Given advances in materials and craftsmanship, we can usually improve power density, reliability and efficiency too—without OEM involvement and despite the absence of drawings.
